I Left for the Children: Breaking the Cycle and Building a Legacy of Healing was written to give voice to lived experiences of domestic violence—from a mother, her children, and her husband—and to serve as a trauma-informed educational resource for survivors, professionals, and organizations supporting families affected by abuse.
This educational distribution initiative exists for one clear purpose:
to place healing-centered educational resources directly into the hands of those who need them most.
Through coordinated sponsorship support, physical books, workbooks, and children’s educational materials are distributed to shelters, counseling programs, educators, and organizations serving individuals and families affected by trauma.
This initiative operates as part of the educational outreach work of Legacy of Healing Global Institute.
Sponsorships are processed securely via Stripe and support the responsible distribution of physical educational resources.
Why This Initiative Matters
Many organizations that support survivors of domestic violence operate with limited resources. While the need for trauma-informed educational materials continues to grow, access to those resources often does not.
The Legacy of Healing Global Educational Resource Distribution Initiative was created to help bridge that gap by placing healing-centered educational resources into shelters, counseling programs, educational settings, and organizations serving individuals and families affected by abuse.
Through coordinated distribution and project sponsorship, this initiative helps ensure that meaningful educational tools reach individuals during critical moments of transition, recovery, and rebuilding.
How Sponsorship Funds Are Used
All sponsorship funds support the intentional distribution of healing-centered educational resources to programs, professionals, and organizations serving individuals and families impacted by trauma.
Resources distributed through this initiative may include:
• I Left for the Children: Breaking the Cycle and Building a Legacy of Healing
• The Legacy of Healing Global Workbook Series
• The Legacy Seeds Children’s Series
Funds are applied directly and exclusively to the production and placement of physical educational materials, including:
• Author-copy printing (bulk editions)
• Book and workbook preparation and packaging
• Shipping and handling
• Coordinated placement with vetted organizations and approved programs
Because this initiative distributes multiple types of educational resources, sponsorship amounts reflect the cost of placing physical materials where they are needed most.
This initiative is distribution-based. No salaries or personal compensation are funded through sponsorship support.
Sponsorships are project sponsorships, not donations, purchases, or partnerships. Sponsors do not influence placement decisions, and no recipient data is collected.
Placement decisions are made independently and guided by need, safety, appropriateness, and alignment with the mission of Legacy of Healing Global.
